Sandra Pontin

Sandra has lived with her family in the village of Broomfield for the past twenty years. She has two sons, one of whom attended the local Grammar School.  She retired early, having had a varied career in the Royal Air Force, in Local Government, and for a brief period as a proof reader for a local newspaper.  A very enjoyable time followed, working as a Nursery School Teacher with pre-school children, and latterly with the NHS at Broomfield Hospital in the Department of Haematology.

Nicolette Chambers

Nicolette Chambers has lived in Chelmsford Rural West for many years. She was elected to Chelmsford Borough Council in 2003.  For the last eight years Nicolette has served on the Planning committee, Development Policy committee, the Constitution Panel and the Standards committee.  She became a cabinet member in 2008 acquiring the portfolio for Corporate Services.

Tim Roper

Tim is married, with three daughters, and has lived in Writtle for the past 24 years having spent his early life in Ingatestone, then part of Chelmsford Rural District Council.   Education at Brentwood School was followed by National Service in the Royal Army Service Corps.

Tony Sach

Tony Sach is one of the two City Councillors for Writtle, having been first elected in 1999 and has lived in Writtle for most of his life, over 50 years. He is married with a daughter and a son and has 2 granddaughters. He is retired, having been a Senior IT Manager in a major bank and a Consultant in the computer industry.

John Galley

John has lived in Boreham for thirty three years, is married to Jackie and they have two grown up children and two grandchildren. For twenty eight years he worked in banking for both Coutts and NatWest.

Phillip Wilson

Philip has lived locally for over ten years, is married with two young children. As well as being a councillor he works in Chelmsford and has a City finance background.
