Stop blaming the Government!

It is well known that Uttlesford has no Local Plan - developers are particularly aware of this.

It is less well known that there are more than 7500 houses that are yet to be built but already have planning permission

This includes last week's news of 1200 east of Highwood Quarry, Little Easton, Gt Dunmow.

Uttlesford is currently being swamped with houses with no Plan, and that means developers are getting away with limited infrastructure, facilities and community benefit.

In four and a half years, R4U have made NO PROGRESS with a new Local Plan: they have LOST their planning powers and are not taking responsibility. Instead they blame the Government.

R4U, you were elected to run Uttlesford District Council, it is time to think of residents rather than yourselves and to make things happen.
